Strategy Online Workshop - Compliant with the New Global Internal Audit Standard 9.2
Exclusive Online Training for CAEs and Senior Internal Auditors
(6-Hour Online Workshop via Zoom)
Introduction
As Internal audit leaders we are expected to provide value, insight, and foresight – not just assurance. But how often do we step back and think strategically about our own function?
This interactive workshop offers a unique opportunity to:
- Reflect on your current audit function, its maturity and positioning in the organization
- Develop or refine your internal audit strategy aligned with stakeholder expectations
- Fully align with the new GIAS 9.2 – Internal Audit Strategy (strategic audit plans are no longer enough!)
- Benchmark and exchange experiences with fellow CAEs in a small, peer-based environment
Training Description
In this unique interactive workshop, you’ll explore the key components of an effective internal audit strategy aligned with stakeholder expectations, future demands and new GIAS.
You will learn how to define your function’s vision and identify strategic focus areas– all with the help of proven tools and practical guidance. An internal audit strategy is not something to create and then archive. It should be regularly reviewed and revised as needed.
The session includes discussion, reflection, peer exchange, and hands-on work on your own draft strategy template.
Whether you are a newly appointed CAE or a seasoned leader, this training will empower you to position your function as a strategic business partner.
This is not a seminar – it's a workshop: active, personalized, and designed to produce tangible results designed to help you develop or refine a practical, forward-looking strategy fully aligned with the new standards. By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a tangible draft strategy tailored to your organization’s expectation and the role of your internal audit function.
