Chance is the fortune or misfortune of circumstances beyond our control: a meeting, a move, an accident, a conversation, a mistake. Choice is our response to those circumstances. Do we take the advice offered in a chance encounter? Do we risk trying something different? Do we open our minds to a new possibility?
